Eric Felton
Non-Executive Director
Eric Felton was appointed as a Non-Executive Director in 2019.
For 13 years Eric served as CFO of GCM Grosvenor, one of the world’s largest alternative asset firms. Prior to GCM Grosvenor, Eric was an audit partner at Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen in the financial services sector.
Melvin D. Lindsey, CFA
Non-Executive Director
Melvin Lindsey was appointed as Non-Executive Director in 2022.
Mel is the Founder and Managing Partner of Nile Capital Group and serves on the boards of Nile’s portfolio holding companies Welton Investment Partners LLC, Strategic Global Advisors LLC, Denali Advisors LLC, Convergence Investment Partner LLC, Kvasir Technologies and Wilshire Lane Capital. Prior to founding Nile, Mel co-managed Julius Baer Investment Management (JBIM) as Managing Director of Global Distribution.
Mark Hale *
Chief Executive Officer, Chief Investment Officer
Mark has been Chief Investment Officer of Prytania since the firm’s inception in 2003 and Chief Executive Officer since October 2016. Mark has spent over thirty investment years in the financial industry, the last nineteen years investing on the buy-side.
Before joining Prytania, Mark constructed and managed a proprietary credit portfolio of over $1bn at Ansbacher & Co, alongside money market funds, investment grade, high-yield and emerging market funds.
Mark began his career as a financial analyst and economist at the Bank of England and was later responsible for economic and investment strategy at a number of securities houses covering cash and derivative products in debt, equity, foreign exchange and commodity markets.
Mark holds a first class MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
Andrew Burgess *
Senior Portfolio Manager
Andrew has been the Senior Portfolio Manager at Prytania since 2009.
Prior to this, Andrew was Head of Structured Products at Gulf International Bank in London, where he was responsible for the development of GIBUK’s ABS CDO franchise.
Andrew began his career in commercial banking, underwriting corporate and retail loans, before moving on to commercial property lending.
John Kouretas, CFA
Portfolio Manager
John is a portfolio manager at Prytania, specialising in CRE CDOs, TruPS CDOs, CMBS and CLOs. He joined Prytania in 2006, after completing his postgraduate studies.
John received an MEng in Civil Engineering from Democritus University of Thrace (Greece), an MSc in Operational Research from Lancaster University, an MSc in Finance from Imperial College London and an MBA from University of Oxford.
Michael Husemann, CFA
Portfolio Manager
Michael’s investment focus lies on European RMBS and CMBS. Additional investment areas are more esoteric ABS asset classes such as Student and Consumer Loans.
Michael joined Prytania in 2006, after graduating from Imperial College London with an MEng in Chemical Engineering. Michael also holds a Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge.
Savvas Charalambous, CFA
Senior Investment Analyst
Savvas joined Prytania as a senior investment analyst in June 2022. Previously, Savvas was an investment analyst at Altum Capital Management for six years, covering the structured credit market. Savvas holds a BSc in Mathematics from King's College London and an MSc in Quantitative Finance from Bocconi University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Alexander Young
Junior Investment Analyst
Alexander joined Prytania in February 2022. He previously worked at Altus Group, a real estate advisory firm, and Clarks.
Alexander holds a MSc Finance with Distinction from Warwick Business School and a MA in Economics and Finance, with First Class Honours from Heriot-Watt University
Angela Lui
Managing Director (US)
Angela joined Prytania in 2023, responsible for new business opportunities and institutional distribution. Before joining Prytania, Angela was the Global Head of Business Development at Schultze Asset Management, a distressed securities and event-driven hedge fund. Prior to that, Angela held various roles focused on driving sales efforts, overseeing investor and consultant relations, and designing business initiatives to expand the client base at firms including Sibilla Capital, Autonomy Capital, and Malbec Partners, an alternatives investment platform owned by BNP Paribas Asset Management.

She has a BS in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley.
Julie Lohrmann
Senior Advisor (US)
Julie joined Prytania in 2013 and is based in Chicago.
Previously, Julie was a research analyst and a portfolio manager at GCM Grosvenor. Her specialty was credit manager due diligence and constructing credit-centric Fund of Fund portfolios. She was portfolio manager for $5bn in alternative investments including the firm’s only structured credit Fund of Funds product.
Julie has 32 years of finance experience most notably in investment analysis, developing customised investment solutions, capital markets transactions and risk management.
Julie holds an MBA from the Booth School at University of Chicago.

Aditee Bhalla
Investor Relations & Fund Marketing Associate
Aditee joined Prytania in March 2023. She has over four years of experience across fixed income asset management and institutional sales in the UK and India.
Aditee holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance from the University of Mumbai and an MBA from the University of Manchester.
Dr. Michael McAndrew
Senior Developer
Mike joined Prytania in 2015 to lead the development of new systems for the Front and Middle Office.
Prior to joining, Mike was a Quantitative Application Engineer and work stream leader at the Bank of England where he was responsible for design and implementation of risk analytics for the 2014 Stress Test of the UK banking system. Mike has 15 years’ commercial experience developing front and middle office systems, analytics and risk models within Secured Credit and Fixed Income.
Mike has a PhD in High Energy Physics and a Bsc (Hons) in Physics from the University of Liverpool.
Gideon Fackrell *
Chief Operating Officer
Gideon has been Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Prytania since 2009.
Prior to this, Gideon was UK CFO and a member of the UK Executive Committee at AXA Investment Managers from 2003 to 2009, where he was also globally responsible for business and financial reporting for the investment teams across AXA IM.
Gideon qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1997.
Maitri Mehta
Middle Office
Maitri joined Prytania in September 2021. Prior to this she worked as an Associate at Viteos Capital Market Services/Intertrust Group.
She is a recent graduate from Imperial College London where she completed an MSc in Finance & Accounting and is also pursuing the CFA.

Joyce Varkey
Middle Office
Joyce joined Prytania in November 2022. Previously, Joyce was an analyst in the Investment Management division at Goldman Sachs. She holds an MSc in Business Intelligence, with Distinction from Brunel University.
Tejomon Jose
Sr. Systems Administrator
Tejomon joined Prytania in 2012, as a Systems Administrator, managing IT infrastructure and systems.
Tejomon Holds a BSc in Computer Science and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Networks from Middlesex University, London. Tejomon certified in MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and VCP-DCV (VMware Certified Professional in Datacenter Virtualization) certifications.
